As a pilot program, SB 854 directs the office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court to establish at least two, and no more than five, mental health courts in Virginia, to be open by January 1, 2010.
This bill has been referred to the Committee on Courts of Justice and assigned to the Mental Health Subcommittee.
