HB 1928 was passed by with a letter in the Senate Committee for Courts of Justice on Monday, February 23. The bill will now be sent to the Crime Commission for more study.
If passed, HB 1928 would require registered sex offenders to notify the Registry within three days of any significant change in appearance.
